Single Source Network Installation Instructions

Each client will receive 2 CDs, a software CD and a data CD.

Installation:

  1. Create a folder on a network drive         e.g. I:\SS20042005

* In order to be able to access back data at a later date you may want to keep your older Single Source folders       e.g.: I:\20022003, I:\20032004

  1. Copy the entire contents (including sub-folders) of the software CD to the I:\ SS20042005 folder 

  2. Unzip the contents of the data CD (by double-clicking on the self-extracting DATA1.EXE) to the I:\ SS20042005\DATA folder

  3. Create a shortcut on the user’s machine to I:\ SS20042005\QULTATIV.EXE

IF THE USER HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY RUN THE SINGLE SOURCE SOFTWARE, THEY WILL HAVE TO RUN SETUP.EXE FROM THE I:\ SS20042005\INSTALL FOLDER.  IF BEING INSTALLED ON AN NT OR XP BASED WORKSTATION, ADMIN ACCESS IS NECESSARY. A PASSWORD MAY BE REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE PRODUCT ONCE INSTALLED.

Updating Data:

Unzip the contents of the data CD (by double-clicking on the self-extracting DATA1.EXE) to the I:\ SS20042005\DATA folder. Ensure that the Overwrite Files box has been checked.

Disk Space Requirements:

Software: Will require approximately 14 Megabytes of disk space

Data CD: Contains the following 3 Files that when expanded will require approximately 220 Megabytes:             

 

Spotwatch Network Installation Instructions

Each client will receive 2 CDs:

  1. Agency

  2. Broadcaster

Installation:

  1. Create three folders on a network drive    e.g.  S:\Spotwatch  S:\Spotwatch\Agency  S:\Spotwatch\Broadcaster

  2. Copy the entire contents (including sub-folders) of the Agency CD to S:\Spotwatch\Agency

  3. Copy the entire contents (including sub-folders) of the Agency CD to S:\Spotwatch\Broadcaster

  4. Create a desktop shortcut to each MESPOTCD.exe (1 in Agency the other in Broadcaster)

IF THE USER HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY RUN THE SPOTWATCH SOFTWARE, THEY WILL HAVE TO RUN THE FIRST TIME INSTALLATION FOUND ON THE CDs SPLASH SCREEN. IF BEING INSTALLED ON AN NT OR XP BASED WORKSTATION, ADMIN ACCESS IS NECESSARY.

 

Advertising Expenditure CD Network Installation Instructions

Installation:

  1. Create a folder on a network drive   e.g. S:\ADEX

  2. Copy the entire cd (including sub-folders) to S:\ADEX

  3. Create a desktop shortcut to annsumm.exe

IF THE USER HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY RUN THE SPOTWATCH SOFTWARE, THEY WILL HAVE TO RUN THE FIRST ONE TIME ONLY INSTALLATION FOUND ON THE CDs SPLASH SCREEN. IF BEING INSTALLED ON AN NT OR XP BASED WORKSTATION, ADMIN ACCESS IS NECESSARY. A PASSWORD MAY BE REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE PRODUCT ONCE INSTALLED.
